NEW YORK, New York --

With Jennifer Aniston speaking out in recent issue of Vogue on ex Brad Pitt and his “uncool” partner, Angelina Jolie, the dating gurus behind bestselling book “The Rules,” have come up with a few guidelines for the former “Friends” star.

“Breaking up is never easy, but it doesn’t have to be humiliating,” Ellen Fein, who co-wrote “The Rules” with Sherrie Schneider, told the New York Post before offering her advice.

“Never mention Brad’s or John Mayer’s name in public. Also, don’t say any thing bad about him (‘he’s missing a sensitivity chip’),” she said, referencing a comment Jennifer made shortly after their break-up. “Never talk about Angelina or call her ‘uncool,’ even if she was uncool. She does not exist in your world.”

Ellen continued on, telling the 39-year-old star to get back out there on the hunt.

“Go to parties where there are lots of single men and ask everyone you know to set you up,” she said. “You’re going to be 40 soon. You have no time to waste if you want kids.”

In an interview with the New York Times Magazine on Sunday, Jennifer had some advice of her own – for the makers of one of her latest movies, “He’s Just Not That Into You.”

“I wish it was ‘She’s Just Not That Into You!’” she said. “[That] would be more empowering.”

Remembering some of her pre-“Friends” sitcom failures, she told the mag that being on the long-running show was “the first time I felt like part of the cool kids.”

“During the first week of shooting, I thought, I’ll be heartbroken if this doesn’t continue,” she said, adding that she’s still watching the show if a rerun comes on.

“There are times when I laugh my rear end off,” she said. “And I get in debates with people who are over and say, ‘Friends’ is not my thing.’ Excuse you!”
