NEW YORK, New York --
Jennifer Hudson became a new mom in August, and the singing diva already has her pre-baby shape back – something she attributes it to persistence and consistency.
“I’m still working on it,” Jennifer told People Monday night at the Whitney Museum Gala in New York, explaining that she walks anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour every night.
“I’m eating right, exercising, cutting sugar out of my diet,” she continued. “That’s pretty much it, and walking every day, making sure I do some kind of exercise.”
She’s also about to have her hands full with son David Daniel Otunga Jr, who is already trying to get a move on.
“He’s the cutest thing in the world,” Jennifer explained. “He’s working on turning over.”
Not to mention, trying to talk to mom.
“He honestly tries to talk. I sit and try to have conversations with him,” she told the mag. “Really, no words come out. But he doesn’t know that. He’s trying.”
The pop star also noted that being a mother has changed her personality too.
“Motherhood has made me more affectionate, emotional,” she added.
