‘Jersey Shore’s’ Pauly D On How To Get His Trademark Coif & Being ‘Fresh To Death’

“It takes me 25 minutes just to do my hair,” Pauly D told Access Hollywood on the red carpet at Canada’s MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night.

The reality star explained that there are several things he has to do in order to get his locks standing straight up.

”[The] three steps [are] a hair dryer, I got a special comb and my hair gel,” he explained.

Pauly D said he manages to get the goo out of his follicles post-show, thanks to his lady friends.

“Whatever girl I’m with, she’ll take it out for me,” he laughed.

“No, I tried that,” his “Jersey Shore” co-star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who joined him on the red carpet, chimed in. “It’s bulletproof.”

While his hair may be his trademark, Pauly D was also proud of his self-proclaimed “guido” style.

“As far as my style, it’s fresh to death always,” he explained. “You gotta be loud, blinged out. I mean you gotta be fresh. Fresh to death.”
