Jessica & Ashlee Simpson’s Parents File For Divorce

“It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved,” a rep for the Simpsons – who filed for a divorce after 35 years of marriage – told People.
“Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time,” the rep’s statement continued.
The Hollywood parents have two grandchildren from their celebrity daughters, Ashlee’s son Bronx, 3, and granddaughter Maxwell Drew, who Jessica welcomed in May.
Joe made headlines in August when he was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence.
