LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
“Precious” star Gabourey Sidibe is hoping to bring one of Hollywood’s hottest stars to the Oscars as her date – but Jessica Biel might not be happy about her choice.
“I want to make Justin Timberlake and [‘The Hurt Locker’s’] Anthony Mackie fight it out for the honor of being my date,” the actress recently told Canada’s “eTalk.” “I’m just going to throw them in the ring and make them do it!”
But if she had to choose just one, the 26-year-old actress said she would have to go with the pop star.
“Justin…if you’re not doing anything on that night, maybe you could be my date a little or something,” she said. “It’s fine. No pressure!”
This isn’t the first time Gabourey has publicly gushed for Justin. Following her Golden Globe nomination, which Justin announced, the actress said she was overjoyed that the pop star uttered her name.
“Oh my God, Justin Timberlake just said my name,” she told People in December. “I told my roommate, and I literally said, ‘Oh my God, Justin just said my name. He finally said my name.’”
