LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
If fans were hoping for some sibling rivalry between Jessica Simpson and her newly engaged sister, Ashlee Simpson, they should look to different pair of celebrity sisters.
Jessica had nothing but loving things to say to Us Weekly about the engagement of her sister to Fall Out Boy singer Pete Wentz.
“My sister is overflowing with joy. Pete is an incredible soul,” Jessica said. “They naturally bring out the best in each other.”
Not only are Ashlee and Pete apparently great for one another, but their engagement also elates the former “Newlyweds” star.
“I couldn’t be happier,” Jessica added.
A source told Us Weekly, Ashlee and Pete are expected to tie the knot by the end of the year.
The couple has been dating since 2006.
