Jessica Simpson’s Fiance Is The ‘Perfect’ Family Addition

The former NFL player, who proposed to Jessica Simpson in November, spent Christmas Eve with the Simpson clan this year — and the family time was seemingly a success.

“Eric is the perfect addition to our family,” Jessica Tweeted on Sunday. “We all stayed at my parents on xmas eve.

“We are lucky to have 3 new studs in the fam: Pete, BX, and EJ!” she added of her sister Ashlee’s husband Pete Wentz, the couple’s son Bronx and her fiancé.

Eric wasn’t the only hit this Christmas, however. The “With You” singer left no man behind in her praise – including a furrier, four-legged friend.

“Oh and I can’t forget Bentley!!!” Jessica later Tweeted, along with a picture of a near-sleeping dog.

Jess’ brother-in-law Pete also deemed Christmas a success, Tweeting, “Post Christmas toy hangover,” on Sunday.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jessica Simpson has her father’s blessing when it comes to her impending nuptials with Eric, a Yale graduate.

“I am so thrilled as a father to see my baby so very happy,” Joe recently gushed to Access Hollywood at the premiere party for his new VH1 extreme sports reality show, “The X Life,” in Los Angeles. “I have two daughters who are in love with two wonderful guys. I couldn’t be happier as a father.”

Eric and Jessica began dating in May, and became engaged on November 11. Though they are blissfully engaged, they reportedly have yet to begin planning the wedding.
