Jewel Planning For Kids With Husband Ty Murray

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Caption A tanned Jewel poses on the CMA red carpet, Nashville, TN, 2008 Newly married singer Jewel turned up looking toned and tan on last night’s CMA Awards red carpet, but her thoughts were at home.

When Access Hollywood’s CMA correspondent Maureen McCormick asked the singer which parties she planned to attend following the ceremony, Jewel said not a single one.

“I’m going to fly home to Texas to see my husband,” she said referring to rodeo star Ty Murray, whom she married in August.

And it appears that Jewel has finally set a tentative date for expanding their brood of two.

“We want to start a family,” Jewel told Maureen. “I hope to tour next year and start a family, so we’ll see.”

Before that happens though, Jewel has big holiday season plans workwise. She revealed that later this month she’ll be sharing her album, “Perfectly Clear,” for a bargain price, with the proceeds going to a good cause.

“On Black Friday, the Friday after Thanksgiving, I’m giving away my record for one dollar on my Web site,” she said. “And, I’m giving all the proceeds to the Country Music Hall of Fame.”

“Wow!” Maureen replied.

“My Web site is JewelJK.com and on Friday [following Thanksgiving], you can get it for a dollar, stocking stuffers or whatever you want.”
