LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
In sad news for the comedy world, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman have broken up, Vanity Fair reported.
“Jimmy and Sarah have and will have no further comment,” Kimmel’s rep Lewis Kay and Silverman’s rep Amy Zvi told Vanity Fair in a joint statement after confirming the split to the magazine.
The couple dated for five years and Silverman was an occasional guest on Kimmel’s late night show, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
The two made fun of their romance with clips seen ‘round the planet including when Silverman and Matt Damon professed their pretend love for each other in the song form of – “I’m F****** Matt Damon.”
Kimmel retaliated on his show toward his then lady love, weeks later with, “I’m F****** Ben Affleck,” a music video clip which featured the “Daredevil” actor as well as celebrity cameos from the likes of Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Good Charlotte, Huey Lewis and Josh Groban.
