Joan Rivers Getting Backlash After GoDaddy Spot?
Joan Rivers made her debut as GoDaddy.co’s new spokeswoman in a commercial during Sunday night’s Super Bowl and the comedy legend is already feeling the heat!
”[There’s been an] amazing reaction,” Joan told Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover when asked about the spot that features the 77-year-old’s head on the body of 25-year-old actress/model Tabitha Taylor.
“I mean, Kim Kardashian wrote, ‘Bitch!’ I thought that was very interesting,” Joan joked.
Original GoDaddy girl & racecar driver Danica Patrick and new GoDaddy girl — former “The Biggest Loser” trainer Jillian Michaels — (who were also seen in the Super Bowl commercial), are also giving the comedienne are hard time about her new gig.
“The two girls, Jillian and… Danica, well they’ve turned out to be haters. They put eggs in my bra. They were just doing mean things,” Joan continued with a laugh. “Go look at the GoDaddy website, you’ll see what those bitches are doing to me. Not nice. A bunch of trannies!”
The Hollywood legend told Billy and Kit that her body switching commercial is also a valuable lesson for the young ladies out there.
“The message for young girls is, marry rich while you’ve got it,” Joan added.
In addition to the GoDaddy spot, Joan and daughter Melissa Rivers can be seen on “Joan Knows Best?” on Tuesdays at 9 PM ET on WE tv.
