LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

It’s been a big week for “Sex and The Citynews.

Producers confirmed the sequel to the box office smash is due out May 28, 2010, and Jennifer Hudson told Access Hollywood that she is definitely interested in reprising her role.

And now, another former “SATC” face admitted they too wouldn’t mind stopping by the sequel – John Corbett – who played Carrie Bradshaw’s second most significant boyfriend in the series, furniture designer Aidan Shaw.

“Yeah, I love all those people,” Corbett told AccessHollywood.com when asked if he’d be interested in a cameo if it came his way. “I had a great time working on that show.”

While Corbett, who currently is starring on Showtime’s “United States of Tara,” wouldn’t have reservations about heading back, he isn’t sure Carrie’s future includes a run in.

“If something came my way, I’d jump on it. But I think Aidan’s come and gone from that show,” he said. “I think it’s really more about the girls and Carrie and Big now, so I don’t think there’s a place for him in there.”

The last time Aidan made an “SATC” appearance, it was while the series was still on HBO. Aidan had finally moved on from Carrie, gotten married and was sporting an infant in a Baby Bjorn, but with at least two of the ladies – Charlotte and Miranda – with children, and rumors Carrie might even follow suit, Access had to bring up the connection.

“If it came along, yeah I’d definitely jump on it,” he said.
