LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are buying a new home in the south of France.

The couple has spent a reported $70 million for a 1,000-acre estate in the European country, which even comes with its own fancy title — Chateau Miraval.

The estate, located in a village called Brignol near the Aix-en-Provence, comes complete with a three-mile long driveway, a private lake, moat and for ultimate privacy, its own forest.

Inside the lavish home are 35-spacious rooms, many of which featuring balconies offering amazing views of the surrounding valley.

Of course, privacy could come at a premium, as the media has already descended upon the family’s new palace. Waiting for the eager press at the entrance gate was security and a hand-written sign in French, which translates to “Private Property – Do Not Enter.”

On the grounds of the estate, 13 different varieties are reportedly harvested, and sprawled across the acreage are 20 fountains and a stream which runs through hidden tunnels, filling the moat and the lake.

But Brad and Angie aren’t the only celebrities in the area. Their famous neighbors also include Johnny Depp and his paramour Vanessa Paradis and U2’s Bono.

The Pitts, who banked a combined $55 million last year, already own a multi-million home in Berlin, Germany and Angelina also owns a $4 million converted farmhouse in Buckinghamshire, England.

Stateside, the couple owns a $9 million oceanfront home in Malibu, Calif., and another home in Santa Barbara, Calif.

They also paid the full asking price of $3.75 million for their home in New Orleans.

The family hopes to move into their new secluded estate within the next three months.

It is likely, however, that Angelina will give birth before the move can happen.

According to a report this past weekend in Britain’s Daily Mail, a military-style operation is in place for the birth of the Jolie-Pitt twins.

Currently, the couple and their four children are reportedly staying in a villa owned by the co-founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen – a home harboring two helipads.

Those helicopter-landing spots have been used recently for test runs to Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco by the couple, according to the Mail.

The paper reported that the trip is a cool eight minutes and the couple has an army-trained pilot on standby should an emergency arise.

The family also has a Plan B if the weather prohibits flying. The Mail reported that the couple will take a Mercedes followed by security detail in two SUVs to a private hospital in Grasse. Plan B is a 30-minute trip.

And that’s not all — the paper claims Angelina has two trained nurses, a midwife and her own gynecologist travelling with her.
