Jordin Sparks wowed the crowd on Thursday night when she returned to her former “American Idol” stomping grounds to perform her new single, “I Am Woman,” and although the performance garnered rave reviews, the Season 6 winner says she doesn’t remember any of it!

“Honestly, I was [shaking] — ‘Idol’ always does that to me whenever I come back because it just brings back a whole flood of memories — all good, some slightly traumatic,” Jordin told Access Hollywood at KIIS FM’s Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles on Saturday of her return to the famed stage. “I always feel like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m stepping on the stage…I’m being judged again.’ But instead of it just being the three judges, it’s the 30 million people watching! I was very nervous.

“I remember I was standing there, and then I was off the stage,” she continued. “I don’t remember anything that happened in between!”

In addition to praise for her strong and sexy performance of “I Am Woman,” the 21-year-old singer has recently received numerous compliments on her suddenly svelte figure.

“I made exercise a priority instead of just talking about it,” she told Access with a laugh, when asked to explain her weight loss strategy. “I’m in a different state of mind. I’m in a different place. I’m very happy, so that helps as well, and just watching portion sizes.”

Despite the attention she’s receiving for her trimmed-down physique, the singer was quick to state she believes in herself at any weight.

“I feel good. I think I look good in any shape or size, but I think I look good in this one as well,” Jordin told Access. “You’ve just got to work with what you’ve got.

“It has not been overnight… I’ve definitely been working on it for the past couple of months,” she added. “It’s really cool to see in the mirror — I’m like, ‘Oh! I can actually see that muscle now!’”
