Josh Duhamel can be seen sporting just a pair of square-cut boxer briefs in the posters for his new film “Life As We Know It,” and he doesn’t mind one bit.

“My package never looked so huge,” he laughed with Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts during the junket for his new romantic comedy with Katherine Heigl, due in theatres on October 8.

His co-star, Katherine, said that the poster, which has been draped on some skyscrapers, comes with an added bonus.

“On a 14-story building it’s at least three stories,” she added.

Josh revealed that he knew the film company planned to use an image of him in his jockey shorts and he was OK with it.

“To be honest, I did know,” Josh told Tony. “I didn’t mind… I didn’t feel like it was like a gratuitous underwear shot. I look like a grandpa in my underwear. If anything, it’s like the opposite of sexy so I thought it was sort of fun.”

Josh revealed he first saw the poster while heading to a screening with wife Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, and it was a little bit of a shock.

“I was taking my wife to the screening of it and we were on our way there, and we saw it. I was like, ‘Oh my God! There it is!’” he told Tony.

In the film, Katherine and Josh play Holly and Eric, two single people who are brought together to take care of the child orphaned by the death of their mutual best friends. Josh admitted that though he personally hasn’t had children yet, it’s something he’d like to do one day.

“I’ve always wanted to,” he said. “I mean, I think that for me… All of this is great, but if I grow old without a family, you know, what’s it really all worth? So I want to have at least two kids.”

As for when he’s hoping to expand his brood?

“Hopefully, sooner than later, but you know,” he said.
