LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Is that Jude Law? The British leading man will be doing some gender-bending in “Rage,” an indie film that will find him playing a “celebrity supermodel” with “female beauty,” according to director Sally Potter’s Web site.

“The more he became a ‘she,’ coiffed and made-up – the more naked was his performance,” she wrote. “It was an extraordinarily intense part of the shoot.”

“Rage,” a tragicomedy that revolves around a murder in the fashion industry, will premiere this month at the Berlin Film Festival.

The film’s high-profile cast also includes Eddie Izzard, Steve Buscemi and Judi Dench, among others.
