LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

A judge has granted Britney Spears a three year restraining order against former manager Sam Lutfi and an attorney, Jon Eardley.

Judge Aviva Bobb granted the order on Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles Superior Court after deliberating for most of the day on the issue.

Attorneys for Lutfi and Eardley had appeared in court on Wednesday morning to argue against the temporary restraining order against the men being made permanent for a three-year period.

The move comes over a month after the court made permanent a three-year restraining order against Britney’s ex, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.

In court papers seen by Access, Britney — through her conservator, father Jamie Spears — previously asked for protection for herself and her family against Lutfi and Ghalib, two men who were associated with the star during her tumultuous breakdown over a year ago.

She also previously received a temporary restraining order against Eardley, an attorney who once claimed to be working on behalf of Britney and attempted to move her conservatorship case into federal court.

The papers also alleged that the three men were “working in concert to disrupt the conservatorship, with an utter disregard for Ms. Spears’ health and well being.”

Shortly after the verdict was handed down, Roger Diamond, an attorney for Jon Eardley released the following statement to Access about the permanent restraining order.

“It’s a misapplication of the law. We will appeal,” his statement read. “It’s a misuse of the statute, primarily because Britney Spears never testified she suffered substantial emotional distress, nor did she even file a declaration to that effect. It was never disputed that she authorized Mr. Eardley to take the action that he took on her behalf.”

Bryan Freedman, an attorney for Lutfi, also said an appeal was planned.

“We will absolutely, unequivocally, appeal the ruling,” Freedman said. “There was not a shred of evidence to substantiate emotional distress on the part of Britney Spears. It’s clear to me that an appellate court will overturn this ruling.”

Britney remains under the conversatorship of her father.
