Justin Timberlake Gets Friend Request From Facebook Movie

Justin Timberlake can update his status to say, “landed role in Facebook movie.”

According to Variety, Timberlake, along with Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield, have been cast in the David Fincher-directed, “The Social Network,” which chronicles the evolution of the social network Web site created in 2004.

Justin will play Napster co-founder, Sean Parker, who went on to become Facebook’s founding president. Eisenberg will star as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Garfield will portray Facebook co-founder, Eduardo Saverin.

Filming of the Aaron Sorkin-scripted drama is scheduled to begin in October in Boston and then will move to LA.
