WASHINGTON, D.C. --
Kanye West, Kid Rock and Fall Out Boy will be among the lengthy list of musicians celebrating the presidential inauguration in the coming days.
The stars will perform at the Youth Inaugural Ball on Tuesday, which will air on MTV as part of “Be The Change: Live at the Inaugural.” Rosario Dawson and Usher will serve as MTV correspondents to the event, and the show will include footage from service activities around the country on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, including Usher working with 200 young people to clean up Simon Elementary School in Washington, D.C.
The event will air live on MTV at 10 PM EST on January 20, the day of the inauguration.
Other artists at the capitol for the ceremony include Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Jay-Z, who will perform at the Neighbor Inaugural Ball where Barack Obama and wife Michelle will share their first dance as the President and First Lady. As exclusively reported on AccessHollywood.com, Mariah will be singing “Hero” at the ball, with Beyonce starting the night with a performance of “At Last.”
Beyonce will also perform at “We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial” on Sunday night, where she’ll be joined by Bono, who will introduce the President-elect, and Bruce Springsteen. And even more acts will perform at the Kids’ Inaugural Concert on Monday, which will feature the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato.
