LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Victoria’s Secret supermodel-turned-actress Karolina Kurkova is pregnant with her first child, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

“Karolina Kurkova and her fiance, film producer Archie Drury, have announced that they are expecting their first child,” a rep for Kurkova said in a statement. “The couple have been together for a little over a year.”

This is the first child for both Kurkova, 25, and Drury.

“Karolina called me last week to tell me the good news. Obviously, I and her entire Victoria’s Secret family are thrilled for her and her fiance,” Victoria’s Secret Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razak told Access. “That is going to be one beautiful baby!”

A veteran of the runway, Kurkova will make her big screen debut later this summer in “G.I. Joe” opposite newlywed Channing Tatum (who married Jenna Dewan over the weekend) – she’ll play the role of Courtney Kreiger, aka Cover Girl.

In November 2008, Kurkova was dubbed the “Sexiest Woman in the World” and was jokingly referred to as “she of the mysterious belly button,” after close up, unaltered photos of the blonde bombshell showed a noticeably smooth – almost invisible – navel.

A rep for the supermodel previously told AccessHollywood.com that an abdominal operation as an infant left Kurkova without a belly button.

Kurkova’s rep also confirmed her lingerie and swimsuit photos are often altered to include an image of a navel – a practice the rep said was typical in the industry when needed.
