Kate Hudson Named As New Almay Ambassador

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Kate Hudson goes for a sexy side slit dress as she attends the Costume Institute Gala Benefit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC, May 3, 2010Kate Hudson is one of Hollywood’s most glamorous leading ladies and she’s adding another title to her resume – Almay’s Global Brand Ambassador.

The blonde beauty was announced as the newest face of the brand, a division of Revlon, on Wednesday, People was first to report.

“Almay is known for its fresh, effortless approach to beauty,” Kate said in a statement, according to People. “At the end of the day we all want to have fun and feel beautiful – that’s what Almay is all about.”

Ads starring the actress will appear on the Web, in magazines and on television, later this year.

Kate’s role as Almay’s Ambassador extends to charitable work too.

Beginning today, she will take part in Almay’s Rainforest Concert, which benefits the Rainforest Foundation, People reported.
