Kate Upton is making her U.S. Vogue debut.
The 20-year-old S.I. Swimsuit model has graced the cover of the fashion magazine’s June 2013 issue (her first Vogue cover in the United States, but third internationally), and opened up about her voluptuous figure and the authenticity of her breasts.
“They’re natural!” Kate told Vogue, adding that she often gets grief over her curves and “bra size” when it comes to modeling gigs. “I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can’t change some things. I really just live my life.”
Kate — who had small roles in “Tower Heist” and “The Three Stooges” and will soon be seen in Nick Cassavetes’ upcoming comedy, “The Other Woman” (alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann) — said though her curvy figure may be criticized by high fashion authorities, she’s proud of her physique.
“I love my body. It’s what God gave me!” she said. “I feel confident with myself, and if that inspires other women to feel confident with their bodies, great.”
Kate’s Vogue issue hits newsstands on May 21.
