LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
“When is mother’s day? Oh my God are you serious? I have nothing planned!”
That was Eva Mendes when we asked about her plans for Mother’s Day. Don’t forget about YOUR mom this Sunday. At Access Hollywood, we had one of our typical “spirited” discussions about Hollywood’s Top Moms and that got me thinking about my own Top Five Picks.
MOST HANDS-ON MOM
Jennifer Garner. She works to keep her private life out of the public and give her kids a “normal” upbringing. The paparazzi follow her everywhere, but she doesn’t let that stop her from taking and picking up Violet from kindergarten every day. (no chauffeur or nanny in sight) She also doesn’t seem to care about glamming it up for all those cameras- you often see her in sneaks and sweats or jeans sans makeup.
MOST ROCKIN’ MOM
I just think Gwen Stefani is the bomb. I love that she’s a hip mom, who stays true to her funky style whether she’s on stage of 8 months pregnant. And don’t get me started on how adorable her two boys are- they have the cutest clothes!
COOLEST MOM
Jada Pinkett Smith. Talk about keeping her cool under pressure. With three kids she has her hands full. That alone is a full time job, not to mention that her husband is one of the biggest stars in the world AND she has her own successful career as an actress and singer. She and Will even founded their own school! I don’t know how she juggles it all, but she does it with grace.
MOST STYLISH MOM
Katie Holmes. Even when taking Suri to dance or art classes or to the kiddie gym, Katie always looks so put together. I wish I always looked that good!
MOST GORGEOUS MOM
Halle Berry. She’s always been gorgeous but I think motherhood has made her even more beautiful- she positively glows. Of course with those genes (and daddy Gabriel Aubry’s too) how could baby Nahla not be a beauty too?
