RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. --
First it was James Blunt, who allegedly ran over an autograph seeker?s foot in the run up to the Oscars. Next, Lindsay Lohan appeared to have bumped a photographer last week in New York City and now Keanu Reeves has become the latest celeb to have a close encounterwith a bystander from behind the wheel.
Reeves was in Rancho Palos Verdes at about 7:30 PM on Sunday evening when the accident happened. While leaving the 30100 block of Avenida Tranquila, Reeves ?grazed? a photographer according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff?s Department.
?Mr. Reeves pulled out of a parking space parallel to the curb and grazed a paparazzo. The paparazzo was standing in the street in front of Mr. Reeves 1996 Porsche when he was grazed by the car,? the Sheriff?s Department said in a statement.

“The man fell to the ground. Paramedics were summoned and treated the man at the scene. He was then transported via ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment,? the statement continued.
No further information was available about the photographer?s injuries.
Earlier today, authorities told Access Hollywood ?it appeared the photographer [was] at fault because he was standing in the middle of the street.?
No charges have been filed against Reeves or the photographer but an investigation into the incident continues.
