LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Keith Urban is months away from becoming a first time dad, but he is already buzzing about fatherhood.

At the Baltimore stop on his “Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Carnival Ride” tour, Urban raved about his impending arrival with wife Nicole Kidman.

“I’m gonna be a dad soon, and it only took me 40 years,” he said, according to People.

Fans even helped the father-to-be get ready for his baby-on-the-way, with one concert goer giving him a Baltimore Ravens onesie. People reported the country singer hung it on his microphone stand as he sang “Somebody Like You.”

Things weren’t as big of a high for former “American Idol” champ Carrie Underwood, who is co-headlining the trek with Urban.

On stage, she referenced her newly single status.

“I don’t know how y’alls’ dating life is, but mine’s not so great,” she said, referring to her recent split with “Gossip Girl” cutie, Chace Crawford.
