LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Justin Guarini is a married man.
The former “American Idol” star, who finished second to Kelly Clarkson in the Fox show’s first season, tied the knot with Reina Capodici on Saturday, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
“The wedding went off without a hitch,” the singer’s publicist, Jeff Ballard, told Access on Sunday.
Justin, 30, met Reina, 27, during their high school days. The longtime couple has a 4-year-old daughter, Lola.
The star announced his nuptials to Access earlier this week.
The September ceremony came after a planned summer date was pushed back.
“Because of both of our schedules — we’re both working hard — we said, ‘You know what? Let’s take the pressure off ourselves,’” Justin previously told AccessHollywood.com.
In February, Justin told Access that he popped the question while working on Disney’s “American Idol” Experience in Orlando.
“I actually got engaged here in Disney, while I was working on the ‘American Idol’ Experience,” he said at the time. “I’m getting married in July and I just couldn’t be happier.”
