Kelly Rutherford Discusses Her Complicated Custody Battle

Former “Melrose Place” star Kelly Rutherford was ordered by a California judge to share custody of her two children with her ex-husband. The problem is he’s not a U.S. citizen, and he lives in France because his visa was revoked after criminal accusations. So, what happens now?

9:00. Now to former Mel rose place star Kelly Rutherford's custody battle. A California judge has ruled she share custody with her ex-husband. The problem is he lives in France because his Visa was revoked after criminal accusations. No right now Kelly and her two children are en route to France. When they say mommy I don't know what to do, I go to my room, I cry by myself. You know, you think what do you tell your child when they are on Skype and say I just want to come through the internet? I want to figure out how to get through to you. Tears and heart break. Today is the day Kelly Rutherford is legally required to return her two children 7-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter to France to be with their father. It won't be the first time. We're at the airport -- I'm trying to keep it together as a parent. And when they say it, I say I do too. It began in 2010 after Kelly's divorce. Kelly was awarded primary custody but Daniel remained an active part of their lives. But when his Visa was revoked after accusations dealing with fraud and drugs, he left the country. A judge ruled that since he was unable to visit his children, Kelly would be required to take the kids to wherever their father lived for half the year. First it was Toronto, then bermuda, Monaco, and finally France. I tell them I'll keep fighting and it gives them a little more hope. But I've not had my son pulled off my body at two years old screaming save me when I'm pregnant with my daughter to see his father and say this is how you see co-parenting. This is not my idea of co-parenting.
