LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Kerri Walsh gave birth to a boy on Friday night, People reported.
The two-time Olympic volleyball gold medalist and husband Casey Jennings welcomed Joseph Michael Jennings at 8:57 PM in LA.
“We could not be more thrilled to welcome Joseph into the world,” the Olympian told the mag. “It’s the most incredible feeling. We are already so in love with him and it’s such an amazing, special moment for our family.”
In December, Kerri broke the baby news to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush.
“I’m chubby and I’m pregnant and it’s awesome!” Kerri told Billy at the time, adding she was “about 16-and-a-half weeks” along.
Although the couple waited to find out the sex of the child, Kerri correctly predicted they would be welcoming a son.
“We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl, and we aren’t trying to find out,” Kerri told Billy. “We have a feeling it’s a boy, but we’re going to find out the traditional way.”
