LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- There has been much hype surrounding Bella and Edward’s sex scene in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” – but series star Kristen Stewart says it’s not as graphic as many are hoping it will be.
“I think, for me, it really reflects what I felt when I was reading the book,” she recently told MTV News. “It’s funny, because it’s not in the book. It’s totally just what you imagine in between those chapters, but without it, because you imagine it, it leads you to — it picks up right after, and then sort of really indulges in memory. And so I think that’s how you see it.”
So what will Twi-hards actually see Kristen and co-star Robert Pattison doing on the big screen when the next installment of “The Twilight Saga” opens next week?
“It’s not a beginning-to-end sex scene; it’s memories, it’s nice,” she explained. “So because of that, I never really got to shoot, we didn’t shoot a sex scene. It was all close-ups and such.”
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday, the late night host asked Kristen about the much-talked-about scene.
“Somebody came in and put a stop to all the thrusting?” Jimmy said with a laugh, referring to Kristen and Robert shooting the scene.
“He’s the thruster, obviously,” she said of Robert. “Not me.”
In more Kristen news, the trailer for her upcoming “Snow White & The Huntsman,” debuted on Thursday. See all the fairytale action, HERE!
