Kristin Cavallari Headed To ‘CSI: NY’

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Caption Kristin CavallariSo long “Laguna Beach” – hello New York City.

Former “Laguna Beach” reality star Kristin Cavallari has scored a guest spot on “CSI: NY,” the show’s executive producer confirmed to AccessHollywood.com.

In the episode, slated to air on December 17, Cavallari will reportedly play an up-and-coming handbag designer. No other plot details were immediately available.

“We wanted a fresh face. Someone young, attractive, hip. And because the episode is set in the fashion world, we thought who is a bigger trendsetter than Kristin?” executive producer Peter Lenkov told Access. “My tween daughters talk about her all the time. I finally stood up, took notice and jumped on the Kristin bandwagon.”

Cavallari, who burst onto the scene as one of the stars of MTV’s “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange Country” in 2004, has also made guest appearances on “Veronica Mars” and CBS’ “Cane.”

But will she find herself as a “CSI: NY” suspect or victim?

“Watch the show… you’ll find out!” Lenkov added.
