Rep: La Toya Jackson Not Tweeting To Nick Jonas

Caption La Toya Jackson and Nick JonasLOS ANGELES, Calif. -- A Twitter message posted by “OfficialLaToya” on Thursday wasn’t official after all, a rep for the star told Access Hollywood.
After Nick Jonas’ solo performance at the Grammy Nominations Concert 2010 this week, a Tweet supposedly written by La Toya surfaced, reaching out to the teen singer and saying, “He is lost and alone, he needs our love more than ever.”
However, her rep told Access that the account was a fake.
As for Nick’s own Tweets, the young star seems to be in good spirits thanks to the release of his new solo single, “Who I Am.”
“It was so cool playing ‘Who I Am’ at Ryan Seacrest this morning acoustic, and having everyone sing along,” Nick Tweeted on Thursday. “I got goose bumps!”
In other Jackson family news, musician Brad Buxer has come forward to confirm a long-standing rumor that the late King of Pop composed soundtrack music for the 1994 Sega Genesis video game “Sonic The Hedgehog 3.”
“I’ve never played the game so I do not know what tracks on which Michael and I have worked the developers have kept, but we did compose music for the game,” Brad told Black & White magazine, a French Michael Jackson fan publication. “Michael called me at the time for help on this project, and that’s what I did. And if he is not credited for composing the music, it’s because he was not happy with the sound coming out of the console. At the time, game consoles did not allow an optimal sound reproduction, and Michael found it frustrating. He did not want to be associated with a product that devalued his music.”
However, some of the music did wind up on Michael’s “HIStory” album, as the song “Stranger In Moscow.”
“Michael and I had composed those chords for the game,” Brad explained. “And it had been used as a base for ‘Stranger In Moscow.’”
