Lady Gaga has extended her scepter of approval to the cast of “Glee” for their performance of her hit single, “Born This Way.”
“I really loved Glee’s Born This Way episode,” the pop star Tweeted on Friday. “I admire the show for being brave+fighting for such modern social messaging. Never back down.”
Gaga’s inspirational anthem was featured in a special monster-sized 90-minute episode of the hit FOX series on Tuesday, with members of the cast wearing hilarious yet touching T-shirts boldly proclaiming their character’s insecurities.
Matthew Morrison, who plays sexy teacher Will Schuester, wore a shirt emblazoned with the phrase “Butt Chin,” while lovable ditz Brittany (played by Heather Morris) wore a shirt that read, “I’m With Stupid,” with an arrow pointing upward toward her head.
Mark Salling’s Puck also wore a shirt that read, “I’m With Stupid” – however, the arrow on his tee pointed downwards toward his nether regions, in reference to his character’s notorious hormone-driven decision-making!
In related news, Mother Monster Gaga is pleased with the music video for her latest hit, “Judas.”
“Been working so hard, wonderful things coming!” she Tweeted on Friday. “The Judas Video is a masterpiece, coming next week!”
Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated new album, “Born This way,” is due in stores on May 23.
