Lady Gaga Releases Lyrics To ‘Born This Way’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Lady Gaga is spotted leaving her hotel (& signing autographs for fans) on December 20, 2010 in Paris, France.Lady Gaga set the Twittersphere into a frenzy on Thursday night after revealing the lyrics to her highly anticipated title track off of her upcoming album, “Born This Way.”

The song, which “Glee” already has the rights to use, is – judging by the lyrics – an anthem for just about everyone.

“My mama told me when I was young/We are all born superstars,” the song begins, after a short intro.

“There’s nothin’ wrong with lovin’ who you are…‘Cause he made you perfect, babe,’” the tune continues. “So hold your head up, girl, and you’ll go far.”

The chorus of the song is similar to what Ricky Martin said when he finally revealed late last year that he is gay. Ricky said, “God doesn’t make mistakes,” and Gaga’s lyrics are: “I’m beautiful in my way/‘Cause God makes no mistakes/I’m on the right track, baby/I was born this way.”

The news that Gaga had released the lyrics sent Twitter into a tizzy on Thursday evening. The tag topic “#bornthiswaylyrics” quickly became the No. 1 trending topic for a short while.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com Gaga’s album “Born This Way” will be released on May 23. The single of the same name will premiere on February 13, the same day as the Grammy Awards.
