LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- “Dancing with the Stars” continues to go after big name headline makers!
Just days after the ABC series reportedly sought out Lindsay Lohan to compete in the ballroom (which she reportedly turned down), Entertainment Weekly reported that Lance Armstrong was asked to compete.
According to EW, the disgraced cyclist – who admitted to doping during his recent interview with Oprah – has nixed the idea.
The mag reported that Lance was sought out prior to his confession, something his rep also confirmed to the mag.
“Lance has been offered the show each and every year since its inception. Although flattered he has passed on their generous offers,” a statement from his rep read.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Lindsay turned down a lucrative deal to appear on the ABC reality competition (an offer that was said to be worth up to $550,000). The actress reportedly wants to focus on acting.
