LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
With just days before the “Dancing With the Stars” finals, Lance Bass has taken a break in his rehearsal schedule, Access Hollywood has learned.
Bass, who is paired with professional Lacey Schwimmer, went home early to rest and recharge on Saturday, a source close to the ABC show told Access.
“Due to the round-the-clock rehearsal schedule in preparation for the ‘DWTS’ finale, Lance Bass cut short his rehearsal today to go home, conserve his energy and rest,” the source said. “He plans to resume rehearsals tomorrow.”
Though the former *NSYNC star has plenty on his plate, he’s still planning on appearing at the American Music Awards on Sunday, where he’ll present with fellow “DWTS” finalists Brooke Burke and Warren Sapp.
This isn’t the first time Lance has cut his rehearsals for a “DWTS” main event short. Lance hit the red carpet at the premiere of Dolly Parton’s “9 To 5” musical in Los Angeles earlier this year instead of a practice session for the “DWTS” season premiere.
The season’s final episodes air on Monday and Tuesday.
