“Saturday Night Live” has entered the late-night fray, lampooning the mess involving Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien.

“SNL” opened Saturday’s show with a sketch featuring cast member Bill Hader as O’Brien and Darrell Hammond as Leno, brought together on CNN’s “Larry King Live.” O’Brien was portrayed as somewhat humorless, while Leno needed to be cut off from automatically going into a monologue routine.

LOS ANGELES, Calif.

The Colorado father who pleaded guilty to a felony in the runaway balloon saga insisted in an interview set to air Friday that the event wasn’t a hoax.

In his first television interview since shortly after the Oct. 15 event, Richard Heene said that he believed that his 6-year-old son, Falcon, was in the homemade balloon when it took off from thefamily’s Fort Collins backyard.
