LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans
That Moment When The Cops Use Tear Gas On Your Date: Note to “American Pie” star Eddie Kaye Thomas, you want to be a little more discerning about who you bring home. According to multiple reports (The Los Angeles Times and TMZ), the actor had a date go horribly wrong on Wednesday night that ended with the police, knives drawn and tear gas billowing out of his Hollywood Hills home. He reportedly called 911 following a standoff he had with a woman that he had met the previous evening at Mel’s Diner (big spender Eddie!). He reportedly brought her back to his home and then an argument ensued and a knife was allegedly drawn by the woman. She then reportedly trashed his house, phone and a guitar before SWAT descended on his house and flushed her out of his abode with tear gas. The woman was arrested for felony vandalism, the LA Times reported. No word if Eddie had a stern talking to from Stifler’s mom.
Is Southland Over For Good?: TNT’s “Southland” ended with a huge cliffhanger last night (don’t worry, Roll Call won’t spoil anything!) but fans might never know the outcome. According to E! News, Ben McKenzie, Regina King and Shawn Hatosy have all signed on for new pilots, but if the series is picked up for a Season 6 (which TNT has yet to announce) the actors would all return. Back to spoilers, E! has some burning questions about everything that went down.

Amanda Seyfriend Gives Us A… Singing Lesson!?: Amanda Seyfried sure knows how to work a quote! The “Les Miserables” and “Lovelace” star was asked about her singing technique that she used in her big screen musical — a technique which appears to borrow from her upcoming porn biopic role. “Imagine deep-throating a penis, get that feeling in the back of your throat, and then sing. That’s where your larynx is,” the actress told Allure. Roll Call is wondering why Amanda Seyfried hasn’t been asked to be a guest mentor on “The Voice” yet?!?!
