SOUTHAMPTON, New York --

Jon Gosselin has been linked to two young women in the last several weeks since announcing his split from wife Kate, but the star told People on Saturday that he’s “not looking for anyone.”

“At this point… I’m single – per se,” he told the mag at the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge in Bridgehampton, New York, which he took in with new friend Michael Lohan. “I’m just a regular guy who wants to have friendship and good times. And I like meeting people.”

And the reality dad told the mag that he’s cooling off things with Hailey Glassman, 22, who he took a recent trip to Saint-Tropez with.

“She doesn’t like this [craziness],” he said. “She loves me for who I am and not for what I do. We are going to chill out for a while and see where it takes us. I’m not looking for anyone.”

Still, the star told a slightly different story about his love life to Us Weekly.

“My heart is always with Hailey,” he reportedly told the mag at the same event, adding that dating several women is “not me.”

Jon told People he’s “just friends” with tabloid reporter Kate Major, who joined him in the Hamptons over the last several days.

Of his trip away from home – and his eight kids — Jon said it was par for the course.

“If [Kate’s] got to work, I go home. If I’ve got to work, she stays home. And that’s the way it’s always been,” he said. “Kate and I are just showing how we are going to live.”
