LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Madonna may have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last week, but the 49-year-old singer is still at the forefront of pop music.
Madonna debuted her new single, "4 Minutes," on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Monday morning, where she duets with Justin Timberlake on the Timbaland-produced track.
Sample lyrics of "4 Minutes" include, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions, yeah (sung by Madonna)/ If I die tonight at least I can say I did what I wanted to do, tell me how about you? (sung by Timberlake)."
Madonna told Interview magazine the connection with Timberlake was instantaneous.
"He's open and he's got talent. He's a songwriter. I haven't worked with a lot of songwriters where I'm instantly connected and start riffing and playing with the rhythm of the words. He's as interested in rhythm of words as the meaning of words. I enjoyed that process with him," she said.
