On Friday, news broke that Madonna had been granted a preliminary divorce from Guy Ritchie, but just days before, the singer was spotted dining out with her former husband, Sean Penn.
Access Hollywood has confirmed Madonna and her ex-husband, Penn, whom she married in 1985, had drinks together on Wednesday evening.
Madonna and Penn were spotted at the Greenwich Hotel following a Gucci event, with the pop singer’s manager, Guy Oseary, as first reported by the New York Post’s Page Six.
And the meeting between Madonna and her 1980s ex was “cozy and very festive,” a source close to Madonna told Access.
While there was no word what brought the three together for the evening, each of them certainly had their own reasons to celebrate — Madonna’s divorce heading toward wrapping up, Oseary’s success as executive producer of “Twilght” and the early Oscar buzz surrounding Penn’s new film, “Milk.”
