LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Contrary to previous reports, Madonna will not be attending tonight’s All Star game at Yankee Stadium, Access Hollywood has learned.

Madonna had been rumored to attend, according to the New York Post’s Page Six, but will not be present at the game.

The pop star was also expected last night at Alex Rodriguez’s pre-All Star party in New York City, but she was a no-show at that event as well.

Rodriguez, or A-Rod as he is known, recently split with his wife, Cynthia, as rumors surfaced he was engaged in a relationship with Madonna.

Madonna’s rep shot down the rumors, telling Access last week: “Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There’s really not anything to comment on beyond that.”
