Majandra Delfino has been cast in NBC’s “The Farm” (a spin-off from “The Office,” focusing on Rainn Wilson’s beet-farming character Dwight), according to Entertainment Weekly’s Inside TV blog.

The 31-year-old actress — best known for her roles on “Roswell,” ABC Family’s “State of Georgia” and “Quarterlife” — will play Fannie Schrute, Dwight’s “pseudo-intellectual lefty” younger sister, the blog reported.

Additionally, Deadline reported Fannie fled the Schrute family beet farm/bed & breakfast for a faster-paced life in Boston, but will find herself back on the farm, child in tow, after getting a divorce.

“The Farm” is being penned by former “The Office” showrunner Paul Lieberstein and will be introduced during an episode of the long-running NBC comedy later this season.
