LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Nicholas Frank Prugo, the 18-year-old Calabasas, Calif., man who allegedly stole more than $170,000 in jewelry and clothes from the homes of Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge, was charged Tuesday with two counts of first-degree residential burglary, Access Hollywood has learned.

Prugo allegedly broke into Patridge’s home on February 23, taking more than $43,000 in jewelry and designer clothes from “The Hills” starlet.

The alleged theft continued on August 23, when he allegedly hit Lohan’s house, nabbing approximately $128,000 in jewelry, clothing and accessories.

Prugo is scheduled to be arraigned November 11, said Deputy District Attorney Kaarin Axelsen.

Following his arrest on September 17, he was released on $100,000 bail.

Prugo could end up behind bars in state prison for up to six years if convicted.
