LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Bar Consultant Marcos Tello of Tello Demarest Liquid Assets stops by Access Hollywood Live to make July 4th inspired cocktails.

Independence Rum Punch:

Juice of 4 - 5 Limes

4-5 Dashes Angostura Bitters

2 oz. Honey Syrup*

2 oz. Simple Syrup**

2 oz. Grand Marnier

1 oz. Velvet Falernum

6 oz. Jamaican Rum

Combine all ingredients and stir in a pitcher with ice. Strain over a large block of ice and ladle into ice-filled “punch cups”. 6-8 servings.

Honey Syrup: Combine 3 parts clover honey and 1 part water. Stir until all honey and water are fully integrated.

Simple Syrup: Combine equal parts superfine sugar and water. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.

Gin Lizzy:

Muddled Fruit of Choice

1.5 oz. Gin

1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

1/2 oz. Lime Juice

Shake with ice & Dump into Rocks Glass

Top up with Tonic
