Mariah Carey Records Song For Oz The Great & Powerful

Caption Mariah Carey arrives at the New York auditions of ‘American Idol,’ Season 12LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Mariah Carey has recorded a song for Disney’s “Oz The Great and Powerful.”
The song – “Almost Home” – will drop as a single on Island Def Jam on February 19.
“‘Almost Home’ has a message that works beautifully with the film,” Mariah said in a statement, about the song, which she co-wrote and co-produced for the film. “It’s a feel-good record; it gives you the feeling of reaching your home and being with people that you love.”
A video will also be made, shot by famed photographer David LaChapelle.
LaChapelle called it, “a duet between Mariah and the movie.”
