“High School Musical 3: Senior Year” graduated with honors Saturday at the Kids’ Choice Awards.
The Disney musical was selected as the favorite movie by audience votes at the 22nd annual slime-filled Nickelodeon spectacle held inside UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion. “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens was also selected as the favorite movie actress.

LOS ANGELES (April 30, 2007) — MTV has announced the official nominees for the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.The awards show will be airing live for the first time ever, and will be broadcast from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA on Sunday, June 3rd at 8pm/7c. Comedian Sarah Silverman has been tapped to host, and performers and presenters for the show will be announced at a later date.Leading the charge with the most nominations is the epic historical fantasy “300,” with five; followed by “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” with four nominations. Also competing for the coveted “golden popcorn” are “Borat,” “Blades of Glory,” and “The Devil Wears Prada” with 3 nominations each. The 16th annual awards show will be executive produced by Emmy AwardŽ winning producer Mark Burnett (”Survivor”, “The Apprentice”). New to the show this year is MTV’s first-ever user generated category, “BEST MOVIE SPOOF” where viewers have the opportunity to submit their own original movie shorts parodying films from the past year.Fans can vote by visiting movieawards.mtv.com before May 29th.
