LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Martha Stewart is showing her sympathy for Jessica Simpson’s loss after comments that chided the singer after her dog, Daisy, was snatched by a coyote earlier this month.
In an episode of “The Martha Stewart Show” on Thursday, she reached out to the reality star, who is currently filming “The Price of Beauty” in Uganda.
“I said that she should have been watching her dog more closely, but I feel very, very sorry for anybody that loses a pet,” Martha said. “Jessica, I hope you find your pet, but if you don’t, I’m really sorry that you lost one.”
However, shortly after Daisy was taken, the domestic maven lashed out at the pop star for her dog’s disappearance.
“[Jessica] should’ve been more careful,” the lifestyle mogul told Us Weekly at the mag’s 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers party on September 15. “She should have watched it more closely.”
