Whitney Houston’s last days were spent surrounded by family, catching up with old friends and doing a bit of what she was best known for: singing.
Her death Saturday afternoon in a Beverly Hills hotel room came hours before she was scheduled to appear at an annual pre-Grammy party that introduced her to the industry decades ago and was expected to honor the six-time Grammy winner.

Holly Robinson Peete knows a thing or two about what it’s like to be the wife of an NFL quarterback, having been married to Rodney Peete for nearly two decades. And on Thursday, Holly said she had sympathy for Tom Brady’s lady, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who slammed her husband’s teammates after their disappointing loss to the Giants in the Super Bowl.
“Here’s the deal, it’s a hard job to be the quarterback’s wife,” Holly said as she co-hosted Access Hollywood Live on Thursday alongside Kit Hoover.
