Megan Fox and husband Brian Austin Green are fans of the ink, but they’ve both recently decided to have a little less on display.

“Brian is removing some tattoos also,” Megan told Access Hollywood at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival, as she promoted “Friends with Kids” over the weekend.

Megan is actually getting rid of her Marilyn Monroe bust, which is located on her lower arm, ink she had done at the age of 18.

“I just feel like her life was surrounded and shrouded in so much mystery and tragedy and she was troubled and there is negativity with her life and with her death,” Megan said of motive for removing the screen legend. “I just feel like there are better things to have inked on your body than someone who suffered so much, so in getting older, I just decided that is something I wanted to get rid of.”

While one thing is coming off Megan’s body, she confirmed there’s something she’s been adding on – weight.

“I was on a vegan diet and I can get pretty thin naturally and apparently everyone was very frightened by that, so I had to try to put on a little bit of weight be a little healthier,” she said. “[I’m] giving it a shot. [We’ll] see how it goes.”
