LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Megan Fox has gone from comparing her boss to a dictator to now being cast in a movie about one!

The actress lost her “Transformers” role for comments she made comparing director Michael Bay to a dictator, but now the big screen beauty has landed a role in Sacha Baron Cohen’s upcoming comedy, “The Dictator.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox and John C. Reilly will be making a cameo in the comedy, which is described as “the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.”

Fox and Reilly join Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley and Jason Mantzoukas in the Larry Charles-directed movie, which is slated to hit theaters on May 11, 2012.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Bay told GQ magazine in their July issue that “Transformers” producer Steven Spielberg demanded that Fox be dismissed from the third installment of the franchise after she compared Bay to Hitler. The big screen bombshell was replaced by Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
