Mel Gibson Makes First Public Outing With New Love Interest

A source told Access Hollywood that Mel made an appearance on Tuesday’s red carpet for Hugh Jackman’s new movie because of his friendship with Richard and Lauren Donner, the producers of “Wolverine,” and Mel’s “Lethal Weapon” movie series.

Plus, the source added, “he wanted to see the movie.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, earlier this month, Mel and his wife, Robyn, officially filed for divorce in Los Angeles court. They separated almost three years ago.
